"World IP Day"

April 26 is observed as the World Intellectual Property Day each year, all over the world. Initiated in 2000, the World IP Day is an initiative of the members of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) to raise public awareness about the role of Intellectual Property (IP) in daily life, and to celebrate the contributions made by innovators and creators to the development of societies across the globe. April 26 is also the date on which the WIPO was established in 1970.

Intellectual Property Rights are instrumental to many lives as the world becomes more and more innovative and as everybody seeks to protect the fruits of its innovation and brand. With companies employing hard work and efforts in making their brand famous and popular, it becomes imperative to prevent the misuse of their brand and innovation by competitors and to provide legal protection to the brand names it uses and the works it creates. IP protection is the answer to this need or else brand may be wasted without appropriate legal protection.

May this World IP Day push you to unleash your innovative insight and protect the same.
